    LAND & SEA BODY BRUSH

Dry or Wet Glowing Skin Ritual Tool

Crafted by traditional Swedish brush-binders, Iris Hantverk.

Iris Hantverk brushes are artfully made in traditional Swedish fashion by an intimate collective of visually impaired craftspeople. These coveted Body Brushes are individually crafted from responsibly forested oil-treated golden oak wood and ethically gathered, luxuriously soft horsehair bristles and natural Tampico fibres that have been carefully bound into the head of each brush. The sturdy handle has been ergonomically designed to fit beautifully and comfortably into the palm, with a smooth opening in the handle to allow for easy hang-drying after each use. Use this brush wet or dry.

Wet: During bathing, lather with water and your preferred soap for a rich and luxurious body polishing and cleansing experience. Rinse and hang to dry after each use.

Dry: Use the brush completely dry on dry skin to gently exfoliate, buff and invigorate the skin before bathing. Dry brushing helps encourage detoxification by increasing blood circulation and lymphatic drainage and unclogs pores while gently exfoliating, revealing a vibrant and bright complexion through cleansing skin congestion, stimulating cellular regeneration and turnover, polishing and toning the skin, and reducing puffiness and swelling. Dry brushing is also enormously beneficial while pregnant or postpartum. A dry brushing practice takes only a minute or two and can be enjoyed daily.

How to Dry Brush: Start at your feet and brush upward toward the heart. Similarly, when you start on your arms, begin at the hands and work upward. Use firm, small strokes upward, or work in a circular motion. This brush contains Tampico fibre, and it may require some breaking-in to soften the bristles to your preference.

The brush is 6.75 inches in length and has a brush width of 2.75 inches.
